The chair represents the fields of nutritional medicine and prevention in research and teaching at the University of Hohenheim.
The chair includes research laboratories in Fruwirthstr. 12 as well as the Metabolic Unit, a research practice for conducting clinical studies, in Wollgrasweg 49.
The chair is associated with the Center for Nutritional Medicine (ZEM), a joint institution of the Universities of Tübingen and Hohenheim, and with the Center for Clinical Nutrition Stuttgart (ZKES) at Wollgrasweg 49.
The department works in close cooperation with the other departments of the Institute of Nutritional Medicine, as well as with other institutes and the Center for Health Sciences at the University of Hohenheim.
